Is LandlordOS really free?
Yes. LandlordOS is completely free during Early Access. You get full access to every feature including unlimited properties, AI assistant, compliance tracking, MTD submissions, and per-property P&L reports. No credit card required, no time limit, no hidden fees.
Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?
Everything is free during beta. At launch there will be a Free plan (up to 2 properties, with a taste of Ace) and a Pro plan from £9 a month that unlocks unlimited Ace and adds properties from £0.50 each, capped at £19 a month however large your portfolio. Upgrading or downgrading will be instant with no data loss.
What's included in the free tier?
Everything. During Early Access, every feature is included: unlimited properties, AI chat assistant, compliance tracking, legal document generation, statement upload with AI categorisation, MTD quarterly submissions, per-property P&L reports, and email support.
Do I need to pay for MTD features?
No. During Early Access, all MTD features are included for free. This includes quarterly submissions, statement upload with AI categorisation, and per-property P&L reports. Making Tax Digital became mandatory on 6 April 2026 for landlords earning over £50,000.
Is there a contract or commitment?
No. LandlordOS is free during Early Access with no contracts or commitments. When paid plans are introduced, they will be month-to-month with no long-term contracts.
How does LandlordOS compare to Hammock?
Hammock is accounting-only software focused on tax submissions. LandlordOS is a full property operations platform that includes property management, tenant tracking, compliance monitoring, AI assistant, voice commands, legal document generation, and accounting with MTD support. What counts as a "property"?
Each rental unit counts as one property. A house is one property. A flat in a block is one property. If you have an HMO with 5 rooms, that's still one property.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. LandlordOS is completely free during Early Access. No credit card required, no trial period. Just sign up and get full access to everything.
What government data do you integrate with?
LandlordOS connects to 5 official UK government APIs including live EPC ratings from the government register, area crime statistics from data.police.uk, flood risk monitoring from the Environment Agency, HM Land Registry property valuations with comparable sales data, and Companies House integration for Ltd company landlords with filing deadline alerts. All included free during Early Access.
