About Section 13 Notices
Section 13 of the Housing Act 1988 allows landlords to increase rent on periodic assured and assured shorthold tenancies. The notice (Form 4) must be served on all tenants, giving proper notice before the new rent takes effect.

Key requirements
- Only use for periodic tenancies (not fixed term)

After the Renters' Rights Act
